Aastra provides, as open source code, a set of XML applications designed for PBX in a Flash (32 bits). The applications cover various domains:
- Ease of deployment with auto-discovery and self-configuration
- Integration with Asterisk with Directory, DND, Call Forward, Visual voice mail, Meet-me manager
- Media and information with CNN, ESPN, Weather, Horoscope…
All these advanced features are now available from your Aastra SIP Phone. The scripts are not supported by Aastra's regular Support organization as they are open source. For any support issues regarding these scripts, please visit the endpoints section of the PBX in a Flash forum, some Aastra engineers are part of it.
