Aastra’s 67xi Series offers full synchronization with CosmoDesk Contact Center Platform
CONCORD, ON, CANADA June 3, 2009 — Aastra, a leading company at the forefront of the enterprise communication market, announced today that CosmoCom, a unified contact centre technology company, has selected its award winning SIP based IP Telephones for use as CosmoPhones™ with its recently announced Version 6 of CosmoCall Universe. The CosmoPhone is CosmoCom’s first hardware product, complementing all CosmoCall Universe user types, including traditional Agents and the new ReadyReps and Business Users introduced in Version 6.

Available for implementation is Aastra’s complete lineup of 67xi telephones including the 6731i, 6755i, 6757i and 6757iCT. This wide array of SIP telephone choices range in price from a low $99.99 USD to a mid range of $249.99 to a high of $399.99 USD. All models offer full duplex speakerphone, call appearance lines with LEDs, shared call and bridged line appearances, Busy Lamp Field support, local 3-way conferencing and extensive storage capacity for directory, callers and redial lists. The mid to higher priced telephones offer larger display screens, dual auto sensing 10/100 Mbps switched Ethernet ports, integrated headset jacks, additional line and call processing abilities and a large number of flexible, programmable function keys. The high end 6757i CT (available in North American markets only) provides support for an included cordless handset, allowing a user to travel some 300,000 square feet from the IP telephone base. All telephones enable access to ACD features using programmable keys. Phones are fully synchronized with CosmoDesk – call, presence and Contact Center activities control the software applications of CosmoCall Universe.
