Aastra Hi-Q™ Recognized as a Best Large Enterprise Solution at Leading IP Communications Conference in Los Angeles
Dallas, TX (September 11, 2009) - Aastra announced today that its Hi-Q™ Enhanced Audio has received a “Best of Show Award” in the Large Enterprise Solution category at Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC®)’s ITEXPO West 2009 in Los Angeles.
Aastra’s Hi-Q™ audio technology is a software based acoustic optimization, backwards compatible with existing 67xxi series SIP phones, delivering a more life-like conversation and richer user experience via an industry standard G.722 wideband codec. Hi-Q is easily configurable and then automatically activated for calls that successfully negotiate the use of G.722 codec. This innovative software-only upgrade works on existing hardware and is available as a free download from Aastra.
